A playful, confidence-building practice where girls explore strength, trust, and self-belief through supported aerial movement.

What Tween Aerial Yoga Is...

Tween Aerial Yoga is a movement-based practice that uses a soft fabric hammock to support yoga poses, playful exploration, and strength-building in a safe, structured environment.

This practice supports girls in:

  • Building confidence and trust in their bodies

  • Exploring strength, balance, and coordination

  • Developing courage through supported challenge

  • Regulating emotions through movement and play

Aerial Yoga often feels exciting and empowering - while still being grounded, intentional, and respectful of each child's pace.

Readiness & Prerequisites

Tween Aerial Yoga is best suited for girls who:

  • Have prior experience with floor/ground yoga

   OR

  • Are comfortable following instructions in a group setting

  • Can listen to and respect physical safety guidelines

Because aerial work involves being off the ground, this practice requires body awareness, focus, and readiness.

Tween Aerial Yoga is not recommended as a first yoga experience unless otherwise noted.

How Classes Are Held...

Tween Aerial Yoga Classes are facilitated with clear structure, safety awareness, and calm guidance.

Classes emphasize:

  • Proper use of equipment

Girls are never forced into poses and are always encouraged to opt out or modify as needed.

Safety, trust, and emotional support are foundational to every class.

What Tween Aerial Yoga Is Not...

Tween Aerial Yoga is:

  • Not therapy or clinical treatment

  • Not a performance or competition

  • Not about flexibility, perfection, or achievement

This is an educational, experiential movement practice  focused on confidence, awareness, and self-trust.
