When we think of bullying, we often focus on what we don't want: cruelty, exclusion, harm, or division. But at Love Is Rad, we believe the strongest change comes when we shift our focus to what we do want: kindness, understanding, compassion, and unity.

That's why we do not call our school program an "Anti-Bullying" program. Instead, we're launching something much more powerful -- a program that puts love, connection, and community at its core. Introducing -- The Rad Unity Project: Building Compassion, One Classroom at a Time.

Why a New Name Matters

Words hold energy. "Anti-bullying" is important, but it still centers the problem. What we want to center is the solution: students discovering their ability to build safe, supportive, uplifting environments where everyone belongs.

By naming this initiative the Rad Unity Project, we're inviting students, teachers, and parents into a movement that emphasizes community, care, and courage.

What Students Will Learn

Our program is designed for middle and high schools and can be adapted for grade level, classroom, or school-wide assemblies. Through interactive workshops, storytelling, and reflection, students will:

• Build empathy by learning to listen and understand others' perspectives

• Practice conflict resolution with kindness and courage

• Create bonds of trust, community, and belonging within their classrooms

• Recognize their power to choose unity over division

Bullying doesn't just impact students -- it affects teachers, parents, and entire communities. That's why Love Is Rad's program; The Rad Unity Project, also offers support for staff and parents, giving every layer of the school community the tools they need to model and reinforce unity.
